“Sean Lee is a songwriter. Sean is a performer.
This a guy who is truly on his way to worldwide acclaim."
–Ken Dashow Q-104 FM, New York, NY

Born in New York City, Sean Lee comes from a musical family. His father, Jon Lee, was in the original production of Flower Drum Song on Broadway and performed in the showrooms of Las Vegas alongside such stars as Elvis Presley and Don Rickles. Sean's own musical career started at the age of 12 with the purchase of a set of drums from a LES pawnshop. When it came time for college, Sean headed to the music-rich city of Memphis, TN.

While drumming and singing with the influential Memphis trio The Subteens, Sean was able to get his music heard. Rescue Me, Sean's first song to get airplay on radio, was recorded at Memphis' Ardent Studios and produced by Matt Martone (Todd Snider, Sister Hazel)

Returning to New York to pursue a solo career Sean Lee has released four solo EP/LPs. His most recent album is Mocked Up, a collection of deeply personal songs that catalog the process of reinventing a life. All the tracks were recorded at home and were made presentable with the help of the multitalented Leo Overtoom (Ben Folds sound designer). Sean, who is a Konsonant artist, has also had songs featured on NAT GEO, Animal Planet, STARZ, and MTV.
